i have the following table structure to create, 'm attaching the query file i have written,

TABLE Name: oo_emp_Table_refcol

Name Null Type

ID number(7)
last_name varchar2(25)
first_name varchar2(25) user_id varchar2(Cool
start_date date
manager_id number(7)
title varchar2(25)
dept_id ref of dept_type -- making problem
salary number(11,2)
commission_pct number(4,2)

i'm attching the details in an sql file, please feel free to ask for ny details, i want to get this resolved.. draining my energy for the last 3 dys behind this..

Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide, especially "How to format your post?" section.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code (See SQL Formatter), use code tags and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.
Also always post your Oracle version (4 decimals).

Post a Test case: create table and insert statements along with the result you want with these data.

Use SQL*Plus and copy and paste what you already tried.
