Hi,

I have an application installed at client's site. This application has a schema/user(USER1) and there are multiple tables in this schema. Client has access to sys, system and other dba users, that means, client can login with these users.
Password of USER1 is not provided to client.
How can we hide the table structures under my user(USER1) from being accessed/visible to client, who may login with sys or system user.

Regards
Joy

You cannot really hide anything from SYS or SYSTEM as they are DBA users. The best would be to secure the database and lock these DBA accounts down.

PS: Also look at Database Vault, an Oracle product that can prevent DBA's from seeing data stored in the user tables.
