hi,

iam getting the error 1067:access denied while starting listners
in oracle.can anyone help me

actually i have restarted the listener sevices intially i got error 5 which it has been rectified but iam unable to rectify this error
which showing the message error-1067: access denied sometimes the servives will automatically stopped as they have no action to perform

Any errors in your listener.log file? Have you enabled listener tracing to see if you can find the problem yourself?

Edit: This is probably a firewall blocking the listener. Try to disable it.

hi frank,

how to know there are errors in listner.log file and one more thing is i have enabled it now.

Open the file in a text editor and look at the bottom for suspect entries.
