hi ,
i want to ask how can one count number of tables any schema through pl/sql. i need it very urgent.

Do like this:
select count(*) from user_tables
or
select count(*) from all_objects where owner='schemaname' and object_type='TABLE'
or
select count(*) from all_tables where owner='schemaname'
