Hi.
I am planning to implement a General Ledger & Inventory Control application on our 22 branches around the country.
Around 50 users will connect to the database at the same time.
Two possible ways to achieve this.
1) Create a VPN obtaining DSL service on all branches from ISP.
2) Purchase a public IP for the database server and connect to the database server using internet.
If i go for (2) what would be security risks IP and how should i secure the Database server.
Kindly help me which of the above will perform better.
