Hi guyz,
anyone help me in this please
How to set the default date to DD/MON/YYYY if user put dd/mm/yyyy or dd/mm/yy what ever user enter date in date_item it will convert to DD/MON/YYYY how can i do this?

Use DD/MON/RRRR. Example:

SQL> SELECT TO_DATE('15/Dec/2008', 'DD/MON/RRRR') FROM dual;


SQL> SELECT TO_DATE('15/Dec/08', 'DD/MON/RRRR') FROM dual;
