hi,

i was showing very cute avatars available in orafaq to my daughter. immediately she laughed and was telling me that many avatars were hindi actress, titanic hero and many other actors/actresses. she advised me to change my avatar to world beauty so that you old people will readily help and offer comments. My face gone to Embarassed Also she had shown lot of avatars in orkood of similar type and told me this is the universal behaviour of net users. I learned a new lesson.

I tend to be harsher with people with such behaviour.

Maybe we should create a set of standard Oracle or IT avatars and make them available here for people who don't want to upload their own. Maybe something like: "DBA", "SQL Guru", "PL/SQL Expert", "Java Newbie", etc. I'm not even sure if it would be possible, but it should be an interesting exercise. What do you guys think?

Yes, it could be a good idea for those who want to put an avatar but don't want or have time to search for an appropriate one.

And maybe an option random avatar from a library. Wink

Well, to put that into our context,
that is what Tom Kyte is been advising.

There are lots of experts out there

o Make them prove everything
o Statements that should raise your eyebrows:
    - It is my opinion...
    - I claim...
    - I think...
    - I feel
    - I know (this is the most evil of them all)
    - It always worked that way
o Things change, expect that.
o It only takes a single counter case
o Nothing is 100% good, nothing is 100% evil
    - it is about understanding when to do what and as importantly when not to do what!
