hi i tried with inbuilt procedure

set_item_property('xyz',prompt_cisual_attribute,'va');


it gives error...could u help me in telling how to change prompt attribute at runtime..

You type prompt_cisual_attribute

the correct is :
set_item_property ('xyz',prompt_visual_attribute,'va');

hi....no here by mistake i wrote cisual Razz but actually in the code i wrote

set_item_property('xyz',prompt_visual_attribute,'va');

but still getting error...is there way to change the attribute of prompt only rather then changing the attribute of item...Thanks

I guess that the main problem regards invalid visual attribute properties.

Here's a working example (from top to bottom): properties window / trigger code / the result (red prompt):
