i have a movie ... C:moviemovie1.dat

how can i store this movie into database ..

i have oracle 8.1.7 ...

Hello,

I'm sorry, I haven't got any experience myself with lob datatypes. Yet, I'm sure you can put a movie in the db by using blob's (internal) or bfiles (external).
You can read the Oracle Manuals about LOB's on :
