I received this error code:
ORA-12545.

I have checked the lsnrctl status and tnsnames.ora.
Everything looks ok....please enlighten!

Triple chect your ADDRESS parameter.

can you show your tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora.

I am getting ORA-12545 ( Cannot connect to Oracle) when I try to create a database after installing 8.1.5 on Linux (with latest patches). I am using Caldera Open Linux vx 2.3 on a Pentium III with 128MB memory. Can anyone help?
