I am trying to load Oracle 8i Standard Ed. on Windows Me. I have edited the win.ini file which stops the error ocurring but I'm not getting the option to create a database.
Can anyone help....please?

I don't think you can install Windows Me on with Oracle 8i. I tried but fail. Good luck.

You can install personal oracle on ME but cannot install Oracle server 8i on ME.
