Hi all,

I went to the diectory cd /../../oracle/../product/ and executed the command tar cvf filename 10.2.0 and created a tar file of the oracle binary. then shipped the file to another server and untared the file.. tar -xvf filename its went on without any problem.
but when i went to $ORACLE_HOME/bin and executed the command "relink all" i am getting following errors.
cat: cannot open /../../oracle/product/10.2.0/lib32/ldflags

Can you please post details about the originating and target systems. For example:
- Are both systems 64-bit machines?
- Do you use the same directory structures on both systems?
Etc.

Yes the two servers are same and both have the same file structure.

Thanks,

Seems strange that there are THREE dots in there. Is that an error or a special non-standard-*nix Solaris thing that you can specify directories that way?
