I am using Oracle 10g.
When i seen the last_analysed column of the dba_tables then i find that the few tables are analysed yesterday 10:00 PM.

SELECT	table_name, last_analyzed
FROM dba_tables
WHERE OWNER IN ('TEST')

But i did not analysed those tables.
Please let me know does oracle itself analyses the tables?

Thanks,

Oracle does it for you.
Check the jobs.

Thanks,

But which jobs you are telling.

Is it oracle suppled inbuild jobs?

And how they determined that object to be analysed?

Thanks,

Yes.

Internal and not documented algorithm based on modification rates.

Thank you so much.

Still one question is before 10g was it required to analyse table mannually?

Thanks,
