DEAR

I have a table Emp_Pic

Name Null? Type
---------- ------------ --------
ID Not Null NUMBER
PIC BLOB

I am using forms 6i to save picture in above table. When I click Save Button message is

Transaction complete. 1 records applied and saved.

but when i query only ID is displayed and picture is not displayed. It is not saved in table.

How can i override this.I don't want to save path of picture. I want to save picture in Pic Column.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.
Asif.

As Metalink material is protected by copyright, OraFAQ is not allowed to provide access to it. Sorry.

Dear mamalik
I think your problem is not related to a patsh.
Does your form contain Image item or not?
If yes , do you use get_file_name function to get the foto from the machine.

you must create an image item on your canvas and use get_file_name function to browse file and select the photo
.
the image item must be database item

If you don't have a support identifier, then you have to buy an Oracle license. Then you can download the patches from Metalink.

That's all there is to say, so this topic is locked.
