i cant believe that this is so hard to be done, or i am very stupid.
Could someone just give me example how to load a column from table in a list box. The simplest example: DB table TOWNS -> TOWNID, TOWNNAME
How to load all TOWNNAMES in listbox? Is it so hard or i am making big mistakes always?
Please help me.

Create a 'record_group' using your 'select' statement (make sure it has two columns). Create an LOV based on this 'record_group' making sure that you point the LOV back to the item you want populated. Associate the LOV with the item.
