Hi all ,

we have master site and materialized view site that both of them are oracle 10g now , we decided to upgrade materialized view site to 11g , I want to be sure about this things :

1- we can have snapshot logs on 10g and snapshots on 11g and if i upgrade target database to 11g any problem will not happen for doing fast refresh from snapshot logs ?

2- some times some problrm happens for my snapshot logs and becasue that i want to use oracle 11g Compare feature for compare source table with target snapshot and find the changes , anyone have better solution for sorting this problem ?

best regards.

I have upgraded my oracle 9.2.0.8 database (advanced replication) to 10.2.0.3

After upgrate everything fine. I'm not faced any issue.

Now I suggess to you take complete cold/hot backup from 10g (both master & mv site) -> restore to test env -> upgrade to 11g and then come back to me with your all issues.
