It appears that you are invoking Oracle 10g SQL*Plus.

In order to start 9i SQL*Plus, either name the whole path to this file (such as "c:\oracle\oracle9ihome\bin\sqlplus"), or change your working directory to "Oracle9ihome\bin" directory and use SQLPLUS command.

In windows,Oracle 9i is installed in the path C:\oracle\ora92\bin .Under this path -- two sqlplus related files (sqlplus.exe and sqlplusw.exe) are available.

Can i use sqlplus command in command prompt under the path 'C:\oracle\ora92\bin' in order to login oracle 9i db?

Please revert me with the answer.
