Dear all;

I need your help in the following:

I am trying to develop a form that can call card scanner and recognize character and fill it its proper fields, like (name, email, telephone, etc) directly, instead of using machine SW.

Regards,,,

Does your card scanner physically connect to your PC between the keyboard connector and the keyboard socket or is it connected via a serial or USB connector?

Did you receive any document in either paper form or on CD/DVD with this reader?

Have a look at http://www.cardscan.com/support/supportdocs/tech_doc.asp?doc=transfer/11019.asp and consider reading the flat file that has been produced.

Basically, read the whole of the support web site, determine what you want to do with this thing on your desk, and, if in doubt, contact their support. Your organisation spent money on this thing so you should get some support.

David

PS Sorry for deleting the manual you posted but other people can get the information from the 'cardscan' web site and this site won't get into trouble for hosting protected material.

You are going to have to get access to the API that they are using for their code. This information is not in the User Guide that you posted and I replaced with a link.

Contact their support service and get information on the API from them.
