How to search for let's say anything from the second character but from a range of B to G only instead of all. Like C__dy to search from 'a' to 'g' only but not over g. In short just to limit the search. Is there a way to do this even with numerals 0-9?

Also always post:
- your Oracle version (4 decimals)
- a test case: create table and insert statements along with the result you want with these data.
