Hi Guys,

I downloaded Oracle 11g Enterprise Edition from Oracle's website. It is working fine, except that I tried to run isqlplus, and to my surprise it was not working.

The link below does not work:
http://localhost:5560/isqlplus

I looked in the oracle_home\bin directory and the isqlplusctl file is not there.

Also, I checked the oracle_home\install\portlist.ini file and the isqlplus port is not listed.

Basically, it seems isqlplus does not come with 11g, and I just wanted to find out whether anybody else had this issue?

TIA, E

As far as I can tell, iSQL*Plus is not included in the release.

Thanks. Well, I guess that settles it. Does that mean they expect us to use SQL developer going forward?

I don't think there is any relation between the 2 projects and the decision to remove iSQL*Plus was taken before project Raptor (SQL Developer) began.
