hi all,

I'm new to this forum and i don't if this quesion should be posted here!
i have a problem with my application.
when i insert date(e.g 29/09/08) via a form(which i have done in Forms builder), the date is being stored as '29-sep-0008' instead of '29-sep-2008'.
What should i do to store it as '29-sep-2008'.

thanks

Use 4 digits for a year instead of just 2?

Hi ,

please go through the Oracle Date Formats.
Oracle Default date format is "DD-Mon-RR". It depends on the
current centuary and coming centuary.so go through the format differences between "DD-Mon-YY" and "DD-Mon-RR".

Thank you.
