hello maxis it is possible to run form any browser

do this steps if u want to run form other than internet explorer
1)select Edit->Preferences
2)In the Preferences select runtime tab
3)click on Browse button present right side of your web browser location
4)select the .exe file of the particular browser u want to display ,which is present in system in 'c' drive
5)run the form

But you could, perhaps, avoid Internet Explorer and use Mozilla Firefox instead (for example).

Just kidding here!

As Forms 10g are web-oriented, you - just as @subba99 has already said - have to use a browser. 6i was the last client-server version (by the way, there was no 8i (the version you have mentioned in the initial post)).
