Hi ,

I had created a non query record group 'My_Group' which had two fields one is form name and other form id.Now my requirement is that when i open a form say Test1 then it should insert an entry into the record group .Then again if i open another form Test2 from Test1 it should again insert a row in Record group and when i close the form then it should remove the entry corresponding to the form which i had closed i.e if i close Test2 then it should remove the entry of Test2 and so on .Can someone please help me out with this.

Thanks in advance

Look at 'Add_list_element' and 'Delete_list_element'. I don't know whether a 'record_group' created in one form can be seen in a subordinate form.

Hi ,
Thanks for reply
I had tested this thing(record group in subordinate form ) and if we make the scope of the record group global then it is available in subordinate form .I am not using a list item over here
Thanks
