Dear All,
I am getting input data like 2000.00 as varchar and i need to
change into 2000.Sometime i may get 2000.0.so anyway i need to change into 2000 only.Kindly suggests.

INSTR can give you the position of ".".
SUBSTR can give you a substring.


Other way: TO_NUMBER followed by TO_CHAR
