I need to do a Oracle replication between databases. One resides on Oracle 8i which needs to be replicated to a database on Oracle 10G.

Is oracle replication supported between dissimilar versions of Oracle?

Pls. help me on this topic.

ASAIK No way to use different database.

Becuase in replication area lot of bugs fixed in 10g. So you can go for same version in oracle.

One more thing. You going to implement advanced replication or basic replication?

You should be use same version for both site.
