hi, i am just thinking to change the length of a column to make it a bit bigger by space in the table. is it the alter command to change the length of a specific datatype for example

name varchar2(20)
which i want to replace with varchar2(80)

With Regards

You type the wrong command, correct it.

@jescobedo,

Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide.

"How to format your post?" section.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code (See SQL Formatter) and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.

Don't put solution only hint or clue:

In cases where someone has a real-life complex work problem, or at least it may seem complex to them, it may be best to provide a complete demo and explanation.

ka_wish, please, try to write in English. Your previous post is horrible (not to mention that there's nothing about Reports Builder in the OP's question; did you post an answer to another question in this thread? If so, would you like it to be moved?).
