Hi,
I have used the OAAttrvalException constructor in View object row implementation class. I have an attribute pointing to the column where i am trying to throw the error message and in the setter method of that attribute i have called the constructor(like 'throw new OAAttrValException(parameters)'). The view object was extended with the "Row Class" as the custom row implementation java file. After bouncing the server, all the data in the table including other columns and rows are vanished.

Please correct me if i had proceeded wrongly anywhere.

With Thanks,
Thiyagarajan

This Java forum is the correct forum, as OAF is a framework for doing Java-coding.
An alternative might be the E-Business Suite, as it is meant to develop for that.

Ia anyone came across a function which displays the records in ascending order in the table (of type 'Advanced Table') in OA Framework application ?
