I am guessing here but by N number of parameters, maybe you mean, create a function that accepts a dynamic number of parameters?

To my mind there are two usual ways.

Quote:
1) overloading - create overloaded versions up to the maximum number of parameters you want

Quote:
2) delimited data - pass in one parameter that contains delimited data and unpack the data when you get it

There might be more sophisticated ways (consider decode for example (though I thought this too was done via overloading)), but I can't think of them.

Also, I am just guessing that this is what you mean as your post is ambiguous at best.

Good luck, Kevin
