I am getting this error in oracle alert file with these parameters.
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qernsRowP], [1], [], [], [], [], [], []

How to find the cause of this error.
Please help,its urgent.

ORA-00600 = Internal Error = Contact Oracle support.

Also, have a look at MetaLink note 285913.1

Immediately raise the Service request(TAR) with oracle.

donot waste your time in internal errors.

HI

See as this is oracle internal error that menas it need special precaution while handling with database.
Because Bomb has been placed for your database now and it can be explode anytime.

Can you send me alert log.

You exaggerate the danger, you can live with most of ORA-600 without any big problem, you just have to know that something goes wrong and you must investigate why and fix it. If it becomes recurrent then there are a serious problem.

In this case, a query failed, if is a one-shot then forget it, if it is one you oftenly execute then fix it.
