Hi Everyone,

we are using SQL loader which is loading data from a file(.Dat) to table.
when i see the logs related to it.It sayz unique constraint violated for some of the records. So can anybody tell me how not get that error.can we mention any distinct option while selecting from the file(.dat file)?..if yes.do we need change the .ctl file or sqlldr command?and how?..
Please let me know,if you want see the .ctl file.

Thanks in advance,

You can do nothing with SQL*Loader but where is the problem? Just ignore these errors if they are "normal" for you

You can also use external table instead and then you can use DISTINCT or any other SQL.
