I have a procedure that sends CSV file as an email attachment. It emails the .CSV file, however I was just wondering why there's another .dat file attached together with the csv.
and the MESSAGE was not displayed.
attached file is the code.

here is how I call the procedure:

DECLARE
FROM_NAME VARCHAR2(200);
TO_NAME VARCHAR2(200);
SUBJECT VARCHAR2(200);
MESSAGE VARCHAR2(200);
MAX_SIZE NUMBER;
FILENAME VARCHAR2(200);
DEBUG NUMBER;
BEGIN
FROM_NAME := 'AAAA@XXXX.com';
TO_NAME := 'BBBB@XXXX.com';
SUBJECT := 'REPORT FILE';
MESSAGE := 'Please see attached file.';
MAX_SIZE := NULL;
FILENAME := 'ABC.csv'; --file name
DEBUG := NULL;
EMAIL_ATTACHMENTS( FROM_NAME, TO_NAME, SUBJECT, MESSAGE, MAX_SIZE, '/u01/output/'||FILENAME, DEBUG );
dbms_output.put_line (MESSAGE);
END;

Please read and follow OraFAQ Forum Guide, especially "How to format your post?" section.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format. Use the "Preview Message" button.
Please always post your Oracle version (4 decimals).

Do it!

Regards
Michel
