How to disable borders of frames and repeating frames in pdf file? [message #339006]

Hello,

I have just created pdf file from oracle report. Its working properly. Everything is working properly.

but the problem is:
It shows borders of fields and frames and repeating frames.I dont want to show borders in pdf format.
How to disable/hide borders of frames and repeating frames in pdf file?

Hope this time anyone help me....

Did you try to open Paper Layout editor, select these objects, select Line Color tool and choose "No Line"?

Paper Layout.......

I know that when we run the report, Report Builder uses the Paper Layout as a default template for the report output.

But How can we set it from the toolbar? Is this option available in oracle reports 6i??

I have checked somewhere it mentioned :
Choose view->Change view->Paper Layout.
But I have checked in my menubar..there is not option of change view in view....

So what should i have to do now??

I don't have Reports Builder 6i, but I believe that it *must* look like 10g.

Hello sir

do u know how to close report's runtime previewer by coding ?

actualy i have generated excel file from report
our requirement is when user click on button of form he get report in excel file

but our problem is report is open in excel and runtime preview both

we want it open in excel only

Hi Annu,

Check out attached file..

Restriction:
connect sys as sysdba
password:whatever at your system...
grant execute on sys.dbms_session to public;

you will have to write above line in your sql plus..
