Hi,
I have a data-block with EmpName and EmpCode fields, I want to fatch data into form as it is originally queried by the statement "EXECUTE_QUERY" without any select command.
Can i do this?

Yes It is possible.

Set where property of block to query data when using execute_query.

Thanx
On form a text item with name "EmpCode" recieves a code(say 50004),
And a button with name "Query" execute query gives all record for the code(50004) in query mode.

Is it another try of reinventing the wheel?

This is the walkthrough:
- press ENTER_QUERY button on the default Forms toolbar
- enter 50004 into the EmpCode item
- press EXECUTE_QUERY button on the default Forms toolbar

What's wrong with this, default and always working principle?
