Hi,

I get the following error when search stored procedure is called from asp.net

'ORA-01410: invalid ROWID'

I have enclosed the stored procedure
Table scripts:-

CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE GTT_CAPTION
(FLDCAPTIONCODE NUMBER(19),
FLDROWNUMBER NUMBER(3));

CREATE TABLE TBLCAPTION
(
FLDCAPTIONCODE NUMBER(19,0) NOT NULL,
FLDLANGUAGECODE NUMBER(3,0) NOT NULL,
FLDCAPTION NVARCHAR2(500) NOT NULL,
CONSTRAINT PK_TBLCAPTION PRIMARY KEY(FLDCAPTIONCODE));

Thanks in advance

Do the functions FNTOTALPAGECOUNT and FNROWFROM do anything involving rowids?

Hi,

No functions FNTOTALPAGECOUNT and FNROWFROM don't involve rowids
CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION FNTOTALPAGECOUNT
     (V_RESULTCOUNT  IN INTEGER,
      V_BATCHSIZE    IN SMALLINT)
RETURN NUMBER
AS
BEGIN
 RETURN CEIL(V_RESULTCOUNT / V_BATCHSIZE);
END;

CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION FNROWFROM
     (BATCHNUMBER  IN NUMBER,
      BATCHSIZE    IN NUMBER)
RETURN NUMBER
AS
BEGIN
  RETURN (BATCHNUMBER * BATCHSIZE) - BATCHSIZE;
END;

Thanks in advance

Ariff

So the problem is not with Oracle but in asp.net environment.

Best Wishes!
