Hi Experts

I want to covert the data of field NCLOB to Varchar2 (having the length 32000) because then I need to put this data in Sql Server 2005 column of data type TEXT (which can accepts very huge data).

Thanks in advance !

Very urgent

Rajat

Showing us the Error message is no use if we don't know the code that raised it. All we can tell is that you tried to put at least N+1 characters into a some type of string data type that was sized for a maximum of N charcters.

If you're on 10g or higher, you can use Substr and To_Char to get the data out of a CLOB.
Otherwise you need to look at DBMS_LOB
