Hi i have a problem.
I was migrating a database following the oracle steps and all works fine, but when i want to start the listener it was impossible.
i reinstalled the 10.2.0 database and the same listener.ora works fine.

i tried to relink network and i get this error
$ relink network

just curious 32 or 64-bit OS & Oracle?

An error code would be most helpful.

If the listener "work fine", what is the problem?

Is/was this system part of RAC cluster?

it was an ordered cause the database comes from oracle 8.1.7 and now the objetive is to migrate to 10.2.0.4

Note:316889.1

>i reinstalled the 10.2.0 database
Please clarify

>the same listener.ora works fine.

Hmmm...
It could be I need better/different glasses, but I failed to locate where "relink network" is specified in Note: 316889.1

For what it is worth & as far as I know, base V10.2 install is V10.2.0.1

You can go directly to V10.2.0.4 without bothering with V10.2.0.2 & V10.2.0.3

Is the V8.1.7 a 32 bit database?
