i am a plsql developer, and i would like to learn oracle
applications technical (financials, manufacturing etc)

i would like the seniors here to advise me about how easy
or hard is it for a core plsql developer to shift to
oracle applications..

some of my friends say, its very easy, as i only need to
learn about business, others say, its hard, and its different
from what i have been doing so far (projects involving plsql
as backend, and java as front end)

awaiting responses

Depends on how good you are at plsql and d2k,

Get some hands on Oracle Application Architecture and fuctionality of a few modules of your interest.

The shift is quiet easy from there on.
