I am using developer 6i and oracle 9i database.
I have a voucher form in which i have a date filed. I have facing a problem that when i in date field and press enter then i gives error frm-40207 Must be in range...to 27-jun-08 and cursor remain in the same field. I have not define any range. and i have check trigger on this field that are ok and have no concern with this error.
Please tell me what is the problem.

I will be very thankfull to you.

Have you set up the DataType and Format Mask for that field?
I encountered the same and on correcting those fixed.
Have a try!

Open this item's Property Palette. Go to "Data" node and check Lowest and HIghest Allowed Value properties.

Such a message ("Must be in range ...") is a result of a set highest Allowed Value; it seems that it is set to SYSDATE (i.e. $$date$$ in Forms).
