Hi,

I want to alter a table from Not Null to Null.

If my requirment will work if I doesnt mentioned Null in the sql statement (B).

ALTER TABLE abc.T1
MODIFY (ARN_CNT NUMBER(2)NULL); - (a) OR

ALTER TABLE abc.T1
MODIFY (ARN_CNT NUMBER(2)) (b); (Will explicity take as NULL while altering the table)

Oracle 10g

Pls advice.

You could use a good lesson in grammar and spelling. Based on question, I have to assume almost everything, and my answer is this
alter table t1 modify arn_cnt null;
