Hi, I got an issue with synonym priority. I got a public synonym pointing to a view in another schema, and I created a table with the same name with different data. Because of the restrictions I can't change the synonym name. Now when I select data I am getting data from synonym rather than table in the local schema.

Oracle documentation states that local objects take priority.

Pl advise

Priority is:
- local object
- private synonym
- public synonym

If you have something that does not fit this, please post a test case we can reproduce.

Regards
Michel
