Hi

I would like to have stacked canvas called by button. It is done by SHOW_VIEW. Then I would like this stacked canvas to be on top and disabling content canvas that it is on. In other words content canvas that is underneath would be disabled (you can'tgo there but it is partly visible) until stackedd canvas would disappear.

Aby ideas and hints?

Thanks
Tom

I prepared new window for that canvas, in canvas properties I assigned that new window for this canvas, in new widnow properties i assigned this staked canvas as primary for this window... but when pressing button nothing happens. When I assign main window for this canvas (not the new created) staced canvas is visible then on top, but user can move focus to fields underneath. It doesn't deactivate content canvas as wanted.

Instead of stacked canvas, you can try using CALL_FORM built in which calls a new form(child form) and disables the calling form(parent form). To do this you need to create two different forms for your two different canvases.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for...

Yes, I could use new form then it pops out on top and the calling form disappears and is unavailable. What I want more is to transfer from the new form to calling form some data back. How that can be done? Any examples?
