Hi all,

I have generated an excel file from oracle which will have ID & Name as 2 coloumns.

In this ID column defined as CHAR, field values will be Alphanumeric. When i display the result in excel sheet its showing 3.5E + 11 .. scientific notation. But my client need it as number.

I tried using TO_NUMBER, since its alphanumeric, it doesnt work!
I tried using TO_CHAR, that too not working..

Is there anyway to overcome this problem?
