Hi All,

I have a table and I created a view on this table by using some analytical function.
And I Created index on the table.
Now,When Ever I access the data through table index's are properly used. But When I access the data through View no index is used(always a full table scan).
If a view is created by using the analytical function then even having the index on the table's won't be used?
Thanks

It depends on the view query and indexes you have.
First of all, does your index being used in the same query without using the view, directly on the base table?

And what about posted the full case explaining the problem, why it does not work, what modification you made, why it works now?
This will help future readers to solve their own problem.
