what all conditions in where clause of SQL queries that prevent index to be used.

Many conditions, som eof them depends on query syntax, others on optimizer decision.

Hi,

In one of my sql query, only the part of primary key (contains
two columns) is getting used.Will oracle use the index in this
scenario? if not pls suggest what to do to take advantage of
index?
