hi,
i tried to create the physical standby.
while giving recover standby database in physical standby.
i was getting following errors.

sql>recover standby database
ora:00283 - recovery session cancelled due to errors
ora:01110 - datafile 1: 'F:\oracle\ora91\oradata\system.dbf'
ora:01157 - cannot identity/lock datafile 1 - see DBWR trace file
ora:01110 - datafile 1: 'F:\oracle\ora91\oradata\system.dbf'

here...
my prod db is in F: drive in production server.
and my DR db is in C: drive in DR server.

my question is..
why is it pointing to prod server when 'm running in DR side.

help.

Did you use DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT in your spfile?

Are you sure you are starting the standby database with the correct spfile?

If so, you may want to try and manually rename the file and then perform recovery.
