How can WE give an example of what YOUR experience is?
It is very normal in interviews that you are asked about previous experience. Don't go and make up history. Tell them about your actual experience.

I appreciate you being 'Frank'...but brother sometimes we have to prepare what we dont know atleast to get job so that we get experience. I was just asking or I meant to say I am having experience on only harddisk but what are the other devices...

hi,

my guess is that they were probably trying to find out if you have any experience with SAN, various tape devices and etc. there are some popular vendor specific ones, so tell those if you have experience with that.
