Hi
I have created directory

       create directory photodir1 as '\orahome1\pic'
   


successfully done.

i store an image1.jbg maually on that directory

how to retrieve the image on form (image control)

please help me out

Use following path....

read_image_file('muthu.jpg','jpg','\pic\chk.image6');

hi


  read_image_file('\home\oracle9i\OraHome1\pic\muthu.jpg','jpg','chk.image6');



That image is stored in database server.

location \home\oracle9i\OraHome1. That muthu.jpg is still there only eventhough im getting this error message.


frm-47109 cannot locate image file \home\oracle9i\OraHome1\pic\muthu.jpg
