Dear All,

i got an exp dump file taken with 10g latest expdp with the following command

expdp system/abcsys schemas=OWNDEV,USRDEV,UPLDDEV ENCRYPTION_PASSWORD=********* directory=EXP_DIR dumpfile=DEV_schema_EXP_lORABITB_May15 logfile=DEV_SCHEMA_EXP_lORABITB_May15log

now i want to import this file into my local db and my question is will it be successfully imported if i use the following commad

impdp system/orcl123 dumpfile=DATA_PUMP_DIR:DEV_schema_EXP_lORABITB_May15.dmp logfile=DATA_PUMP_DIR:show_orcl1.log schemas=OWNDEV,USRDEV,UPLDDEV ENCRYPTION_PASSWORD=**********

Import and see if it successfully done or not.

And ENCRYPTION_PASSWORD is the Password key for accessing encrypted column data. Your heading is confusing to me. With the encryption of export file this parameter has no relation.

It have not to be same as of encrypted column.
