Hi,
I have a textarea in frontend through which a person will enter data which gets stored in database. Then i have a link, clicking on which the content previously entered should appear in pdf format...
please suggest how to fetch the raw data from db and present in pdf format...

It might help if you told us what technology you use to generate your frontend. Is it Oracle Forms? PHP? Java/JSP? Java/ADF? APEX?

I am using Oracle POrtal... but this can be implemented using JAVA/JSP also....
Please suggest the possible way in both technologies...

Doing it in Java has nothing to do with Oracle or SQL. It's just a (standard) way to generate a pdf. If you search, there will be plenty of packages/jars/examples to be found.
