Hi all,
i m getting the error, FRM-40011:Form was created by an old version of form builder.
any one knows this? how to solve this problem?
Please tell me.

FRM-40011: Form was created by an old version of Oracle Forms.

Cause: The .FMB file was created with an old and incompatible version of Forms Compiler.

Action: Recompile the form or relink Generate.

hi
i m using forms devsuite 10g (Version 9.0.4.19) and application server 10g. I have developed some form in devsuite 10g and its running perfectly. i m using the path

http://vagee:8891/forms90/f90servlet

and the same file i want to run from app server. so i have configured the working directory and form in formsweb.cfg file.
and i have given the path

http://localhost/forms/frmservlet?config=TEST_APPS

then i m getting this error frm-40011. i have attached my formsweb.cfg file(txt format) pls check that. inform me. its urgent.

As far as I can see it, you should
- start Forms Builder 10g
- open a form created using Forms Builder 9i
- recompile the form (Ctrl + Shift + K)
- save
- generate the FMX file
- run the form

hai,
I am facing a problem with reports when i open any report in the menu i am getting FRM-40011 error where if i open any form in the same menu its working fine can anyone help me in this issue i am conveting forms&Reports 4.5i to 6i Xp,oracle9i

I'd expect to get REP-xxxx error when opening a report, not FRM-xxxxx. So - how exactly do you "open" those reports? Do you have a form which is used as a parameter form, for example? If so, did you recompile it (as described earlier in this thread)?

these forms and reports are attached to an mmb and i recompiled all those also but the same error repeat's pls help me

where as when i open that xxxx.fmb through form builder the forms and reports which are attached to the menu are giving the same error
